Landing the top position at the company where you once interned is akin to winning the career lottery. It’s a dream many pursue, sometimes with wide-open eyes and other times with blind hope. Yet, only a fortunate few achieve this feat. So, when Nike announced its new CEO, many began to look him up—some out of curiosity, others seeking inspiration from his remarkable journey. What they found was a true Cinderella story.
Elliott Hill embarked on his journey at Nike 36 years ago, not as an experienced executive but as a determined intern—one he had fervently sought for six long months.
On October 14, Elliott Hill will take over as President and CEO of Nike, succeeding John Donahoe. “Nike has always been an integral part of my identity, and I’m excited to help lead the company into an even brighter future. For 32 years, I’ve been fortunate to work alongside the best in the industry, helping to transform our company into the incredible place it is today,” Hill remarked in a statement.
He added, “I’m looking forward to reconnecting with the many employees and trusted partners I’ve collaborated with over the years, and I’m equally excited to forge new, impactful relationships that will drive us forward.”Read More-https://voiceofentrepreneur.life/
