Description
Season 14 felt stingy at first, and players noticed it straight away. Mythic Uniques were hard to find, while crafted ones came with a frustrating catch: only one could be worn at a time. That made a lot of big drops feel pointless. Patch 3.1.1a changed the mood in a hurry. The crafted-item limit is gone, and Corrupted Reaper now gives players a much better shot at the rare gear they actually want. Anyone planning a serious endgame setup can now look at D4 items as part of a full loadout rather than picking one Mythic and benching the rest.
More reasons to farm the Reaper
The real shift is not just better loot. It is what that loot can do once it is equipped together. Players have spent plenty of time in Zabinzet running Corrupted Reaper for Pandemonium Fragments, especially those needed to improve Mythic Uniques. Before the patch, crafting a second or third Mythic often felt like wasted effort. Now those pieces can sit in different slots at the same time. Three-Mithic setups are becoming normal, and some builds can push even further. The ceiling has moved, especially for classes that already had strong Unique synergies.
Why Fire Charge Barbarian is everywhere
Barbarian players have been quick to take advantage of the new freedom. Fire Charge turns Charge into a fast, aggressive source of Flame damage, then piles on Attack Speed, Burning effects, and damage over time. It is not a slow build. You dash in, keep moving, and watch Elite packs disappear. Shattered Vow is a huge part of the appeal because its execution effect triggers once an enemy has taken more damage over time than its remaining Life. With Berserking bonuses feeding the damage, bosses can lose their health bar before the fight has really settled.
Charge supplies repeated Flame hits.
Attack Speed helps keep Burning pressure high.
Shattered Vow converts sustained damage into fast executions.
Warlock builds get room to breathe
Warlock has gained just as much, although its style is very different. Apocalypse and Hellfire setups can now stack their key Uniques with several Mythics instead of making an awkward one-item choice. Trinity Cult Scepter gives access to every Ultimate Skill and can add up to 15 ranks to them, which is wild in a burst-focused build. Morlock's Pulsing Flame then rewards players for loading up on Explosive Enhancement skills by raising Hellfire damage. If you are chasing cheap D4 items for one of these builds, the goal is no longer simply finding one lucky drop; it is building a complete combination that can clear a screen in seconds.
