Description
We are looking for a skilled and creative WordPress Developer to design, develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of WordPress, website development, themes, plugins, and responsive design, along with good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites.
Create and customize WordPress themes and templates.
Install, configure, and customize WordPress plugins.
Convert UI/UX designs into responsive WordPress websites.
Develop mobile-friendly and cross-browser-compatible websites.
Customize WordPress functionality based on project requirements.
Troubleshoot and resolve website errors, bugs, and performance issues.
Optimize websites for speed, security, SEO, and overall performance.
Manage website updates, backups, and maintenance.
Integrate third-party tools, APIs, and services when required.
Work with databases and manage website content.
Ensure websites follow proper security and coding practices.
Collaborate with designers, content teams, SEO specialists, and developers.
Test websites across different browsers and devices.
Maintain existing websites and implement new features and improvements.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Computer Science, IT, Web Development, or a related field.
1–3 years of experience in WordPress development is preferred.
Strong knowledge of WordPress CMS.
Good knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
Experience with WordPress themes, plugins, widgets, and page builders.
Familiarity with MySQL and database management.
Knowledge of Elementor, WooCommerce, or similar tools is an advantage.
Understanding of responsive web design and cross-browser compatibility.
Familiarity with Git/GitHub is preferred.
Basic understanding of website SEO, security, and performance optimization.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
