Description
We are looking for a skilled and responsible Technical Officer to provide technical support, supervise technical activities, troubleshoot equipment and system issues, and ensure that technical operations are carried out safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Provide technical support and assistance to customers and internal teams.
Install, configure, inspect, test, and maintain technical equipment and systems.
Diagnose and troubleshoot technical faults and operational problems.
Conduct regular preventive maintenance and inspections.
Attend customer complaints and resolve technical issues within the required time.
Coordinate with technicians, engineers, vendors, and service providers.
Ensure equipment and systems operate according to required specifications.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, inspections, and service activities.
Prepare technical reports and provide updates to management.
Monitor inventory and ensure availability of required tools, spare parts, and technical materials.
Assist with new equipment installations, upgrades, and commissioning.
Follow company safety procedures, technical standards, and quality requirements.
Conduct basic training and provide technical guidance to staff or customers when required.
Identify recurring technical problems and recommend corrective or preventive actions.
Support the Technical Manager in improving operational efficiency and reducing downtime.
Required Qualifications
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Science, IT, or a related technical field.
2–5 years of relevant technical experience is preferred.
Good knowledge of technical equipment, systems, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Ability to read and understand technical manuals, drawings, and specifications.
Good computer skills, including MS Office and relevant technical software.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and customer-service skills.
Willingness to travel to customer or project locations when required.
