Description
We are looking for a skilled System Administrator to manage, maintain, and troubleshoot the organization's IT infrastructure, servers, networks, and systems. The candidate will ensure system availability, security, performance, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
Install, configure, maintain, and monitor Windows and Linux servers.
Manage user accounts, permissions, groups, and access controls.
Monitor system performance, availability, and resource utilization.
Troubleshoot hardware, software, operating system, and network-related issues.
Perform system updates, patches, upgrades, and security configurations.
Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and related services.
Configure and maintain servers, workstations, printers, and other IT equipment.
Perform regular data backups and restore operations.
Monitor and respond to system alerts, incidents, and service outages.
Implement and maintain antivirus, endpoint security, firewall, and access-control solutions.
Maintain system documentation, configuration records, and IT procedures.
Support virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V.
Assist with cloud infrastructure such as AWS, Azure, or Microsoft 365.
Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to resolve technical issues.
Follow IT security policies and best practices.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of Windows Server and/or Linux administration.
Experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
Good understanding of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, VPN, firewalls, and networking.
Knowledge of system monitoring and troubleshooting.
Experience with backup and disaster-recovery procedures.
Basic scripting knowledge such as PowerShell or Bash.
Knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
Good understanding of IT security and access management.
Experience with ticketing/helpdesk systems.
