Description
We are hiring System Administrator is responsible for managing, maintaining, securing, and troubleshooting an organization’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, computers, operating systems, applications, user accounts, and security systems. The role ensures reliable system availability, performance, data protection, and timely IT support.
Key Responsibilities
Install, configure, maintain, and monitor Windows/Linux servers and workstations.
Manage Active Directory, user accounts, groups, permissions, and access policies.
Configure and troubleshoot LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, Wi-Fi, and related network services.
Monitor server and network performance and resolve system failures.
Perform regular system backups and support disaster-recovery procedures.
Install and manage operating-system updates, patches, antivirus, and security software.
Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, printer, and connectivity issues.
Manage email systems, cloud services, and other IT applications as required.
Maintain IT asset inventory, system documentation, and configuration records.
Implement and maintain IT security policies and access controls.
Coordinate with vendors and service providers for hardware, software, and network support.
Provide technical support and guidance to employees.
Monitor system logs and investigate security or performance issues.
Ensure compliance with organizational IT policies and security standards.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of Windows Server and/or Linux administration.
Experience with Active Directory and Group Policy.
Good understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
Knowledge of backup, disaster recovery, and cybersecurity practices.
Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
Knowledge of Microsoft 365/Azure or other cloud platforms is an advantage.
Good documentation and communication skills.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2–5 years of relevant system/network administration experience preferred.
Certifications such as Microsoft, Cisco, CompTIA, Linux, or VMware are an advantage.
