Description
We are hiring Software Tester is responsible for testing software applications to identify defects, verify functionality, and ensure that products meet quality and business requirements before release.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze software requirements and prepare test scenarios and test cases.
Perform manual testing of web, mobile, and desktop applications.
Execute functional, regression, integration, system, and usability testing.
Identify, document, and track software defects using bug-tracking tools.
Re-test fixes and verify that reported defects have been resolved.
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other QA team members.
Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback on potential quality issues.
Prepare test data and maintain testing documentation.
Perform cross-browser and cross-device testing where required.
Support automation testing using appropriate testing frameworks and tools.
Conduct API testing when applicable.
Prepare test reports and communicate testing status to stakeholders.
Ensure software releases meet defined quality standards.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Knowledge of software testing concepts and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Familiarity with STLC, test cases, test scenarios, and defect life cycle.
Knowledge of SQL and database testing is an advantage.
Experience with tools such as Jira, TestRail, Selenium, Postman, or similar tools is preferred.
