Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Site Engineer to supervise construction and engineering activities at project sites. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, monitoring, and executing site operations while ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards and technical specifications.
Key Responsibilities
Site Supervision
Supervise daily construction and site activities.
Ensure work is executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
Monitor labor productivity and allocate resources efficiently.
Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and vendors.
Project Execution
Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
Coordinate material deliveries and equipment availability.
Assist in planning project timelines and work schedules.
Quality Control
Ensure construction work complies with quality standards and project specifications.
Conduct site inspections and quality checks.
Identify defects and implement corrective actions.
Coordinate with quality assurance teams during inspections.
Safety Management
Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations and company policies.
Conduct safety briefings and toolbox talks.
Monitor the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Report and investigate site incidents or near misses.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain site records, measurement books, and work logs.
Prepare daily progress reports, inspection reports, and material consumption reports.
Verify contractor bills and work completion reports.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
1–5 years of experience in construction, infrastructure, industrial, or engineering projects.
Freshers with internship or project experience may be considered for junior roles.
