Description
We are looking for a compassionate, responsible, and dedicated Nursing Assistant to support nurses and healthcare professionals in providing quality patient care. The ideal candidate should be attentive to patients’ needs, maintain hygiene and safety standards, and provide support with daily activities.
Key Responsibilities
Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and mobility.
Monitor and report patients’ conditions, symptoms, and changes to the nursing staff.
Check and record vital signs as instructed.
Assist nurses with basic patient-care procedures.
Help patients move safely between beds, wheelchairs, and other areas.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of patients and their surroundings.
Assist with changing bed linens and maintaining a clean patient environment.
Provide support and comfort to patients while maintaining dignity and privacy.
Follow infection-control, health, and safety procedures.
Assist with maintaining accurate patient-care records and documentation.
Support nurses and other healthcare staff as required.
Respond appropriately to patient needs and emergencies according to established procedures.
Requirements
Previous experience as a Nursing Assistant, Healthcare Assistant, Patient Care Assistant, or similar role is preferred.
Relevant Nursing Assistant / Healthcare Assistant certification is preferred.
Basic knowledge of patient care and healthcare procedures.
Good understanding of hygiene and infection-control practices.
Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, nurses, and healthcare professionals.
Compassionate, patient, and respectful attitude.
Ability to work as part of a healthcare team.
Physically fit and able to assist with patient mobility when required.
Ability to work shifts, including weekends and holidays when required.
Strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail.
