Description
We are looking for a qualified, compassionate, and experienced Clinical Psychologist to provide psychological assessment, diagnosis, counselling, and evidence-based therapeutic interventions. The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong clinical skills, ethical practice, empathy, and the ability to work effectively with patients and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct psychological assessments, clinical interviews, and mental-health evaluations.
Assess and identify psychological, emotional, and behavioral concerns.
Develop individualized treatment and intervention plans based on patient needs.
Provide evidence-based psychological therapies and counselling.
Monitor patients’ progress and modify treatment plans when required.
Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records and documentation.
Collaborate with psychiatrists, physicians, nurses, social workers, and other healthcare professionals.
Provide psychological support to patients and, where appropriate, their families or caregivers.
Conduct individual, family, or group therapy as appropriate to the clinical setting.
Support patients in developing coping strategies and improving emotional well-being.
Identify and appropriately respond to clinical risk or urgent mental-health concerns according to organizational procedures.
Maintain professional boundaries, confidentiality, and ethical standards.
Participate in case discussions, clinical meetings, and continuing professional development.
Stay updated with current psychological research, therapeutic approaches, and best practices.
Requirements
Master’s degree or higher in Clinical Psychology or a relevant recognized qualification.
Valid professional registration/licensure as required by the relevant regulatory authority.
Previous clinical experience in a hospital, clinic, mental-health center, or similar healthcare setting is preferred.
Strong knowledge of psychological assessment and evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and counselling skills.
Strong observation, analytical, and clinical decision-making abilities.
Compassionate, non-judgmental, and patient-centered approach.
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and professional ethics.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Strong documentation and report-writing skills.
