Description
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Civil Engineer to plan, design, supervise, and execute construction projects while ensuring quality, safety, and compliance with engineering standards. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge, project management skills, and the ability to coordinate with clients, contractors, and project teams.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Design
Prepare project plans, drawings, and technical specifications.
Design residential, commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects.
Review engineering drawings and ensure compliance with project requirements.
Conduct feasibility studies and site evaluations.
Site Supervision
Supervise day-to-day construction activities.
Monitor project progress and ensure work is completed according to approved drawings and specifications.
Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, architects, and consultants.
Ensure quality workmanship and adherence to construction standards.
Quality Control
Conduct site inspections and quality checks.
Ensure materials and workmanship meet project specifications.
Identify construction issues and recommend corrective actions.
Maintain quality assurance documentation.
Estimation & Billing
Prepare quantity take-offs, BOQs (Bill of Quantities), and cost estimates.
Verify contractor bills and work measurements.
Monitor project costs and material consumption.
Assist in budget planning and cost control.
Documentation & Reporting
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
Maintain site records, drawings, and technical documentation.
Document project changes and site instructions.
Ensure proper filing of engineering documents.
Safety & Compliance
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
Conduct site safety inspections and promote safe work practices.
Coordinate with safety officers to maintain a safe work environment.
Ensure compliance with environmental and statutory regulations.
Coordination
Liaise with clients, architects, structural engineers, and government authorities.
Attend project meetings and provide technical updates.
Resolve technical issues and site challenges.
Support project handover and final inspections.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree (B.E./B.Tech) or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
1–5 years of experience in construction, infrastructure, or civil engineering projects.
Freshers with internship or project experience may also apply.
