Description
We are hiring Career Counselor helps students, graduates, and job seekers identify suitable career paths based on their interests, skills, qualifications, and career goals. The role involves providing career guidance, conducting counseling sessions, assisting with job and higher-education opportunities, and supporting individuals in developing employability skills.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct one-on-one and group career counseling sessions.
Assess clients’ interests, skills, strengths, personality, and career aspirations.
Provide guidance on career options, courses, colleges, certifications, and employment opportunities.
Administer and interpret career assessment and aptitude tests.
Develop personalized career plans and action plans.
Assist students/job seekers with resume and CV preparation.
Provide interview preparation and job-search guidance.
Conduct workshops on career planning, employability skills, communication, and interview skills.
Maintain updated knowledge of job-market trends, industries, courses, and career pathways.
Coordinate with colleges, universities, employers, and recruitment organizations where required.
Maintain accurate records of counseling sessions and student/client progress.
Follow up with clients to monitor career-development progress.
Maintain confidentiality and professional standards when handling client information.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Career Counseling, Psychology, Education, Human Resources, Social Work, or a related field.
Relevant certification in career counseling or guidance is an advantage.
Previous experience in counseling, student services, recruitment, placement, or career guidance is preferred.
