Description
We are hiring AWS Cloud Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, managing, monitoring, and optimizing cloud infrastructure and services on Amazon Web Services (AWS). The role involves deploying scalable, secure, and highly available cloud environments, automating infrastructure, supporting application deployments, and ensuring cloud security, performance, and cost optimization.
Key Responsibilities
Design, deploy, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure and services.
Provision and manage AWS resources including EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, ELB, Auto Scaling, Route 53, and CloudWatch.
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
Configure and manage networking components including VPCs, subnets, security groups, NAT gateways, and VPNs.
Monitor cloud resources, performance, logs, and alerts using AWS monitoring tools.
Implement backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.
Manage user access, roles, permissions, and security policies using IAM.
Automate deployment processes using CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or AWS CodePipeline.
Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, or EKS.
Optimize cloud performance, availability, and cost utilization.
Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure, network, and application issues.
Ensure cloud environments comply with security standards and best practices.
Collaborate with development, DevOps, security, and operations teams.
Maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and standard operating procedures.
Stay updated with AWS services, cloud technologies, and industry trends.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of AWS core services (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, Lambda, CloudWatch, Route 53).
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
Understanding of Linux/Windows server administration.
Knowledge of networking concepts such as DNS, VPN, Load Balancers, TCP/IP, and Firewalls.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
Knowledge of container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Understanding of cloud security best practices and IAM policies.
Experience with monitoring and logging tools.
Scripting knowledge in Python, Bash, or PowerShell is an advantage.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Good communication and documentation skills.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
2–5 years of experience in AWS cloud administration, cloud engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure management.
AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, or AWS Certified Developer are preferred.
Experience with DevOps and automation tools is an added advantage.
