Description
We are seeking a skilled and motivated AWS Cloud Engineer to design, deploy, manage, and optimize cloud infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS). The ideal candidate should have experience with cloud architecture, automation, networking, security, and DevOps practices to ensure scalable, secure, and highly available cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities
Cloud Infrastructure Management
Design, deploy, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure.
Configure and manage EC2 instances, VPCs, S3 buckets, RDS databases, IAM, Route 53, and other AWS services.
Monitor cloud resources to ensure optimal performance and availability.
Perform cloud resource provisioning and capacity planning.
Cloud Security
Implement AWS security best practices and IAM policies.
Configure security groups, Network ACLs, and encryption for cloud resources.
Monitor cloud environments for security vulnerabilities.
Ensure compliance with organizational security standards.
Automation & DevOps
Automate infrastructure deployment using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
Automate routine operational tasks using scripting.
Collaborate with development teams for automated application deployments.
Monitoring & Troubleshooting
Monitor cloud infrastructure using AWS CloudWatch and CloudTrail.
Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, and application-related issues.
Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.
Optimize cloud performance and reduce operational costs.
Backup & Disaster Recovery
Implement backup strategies using AWS Backup and snapshots.
Develop disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
Perform recovery testing and validate backup integrity.
Ensure high availability and fault tolerance.
Documentation & Collaboration
Maintain cloud architecture diagrams and technical documentation.
Prepare standard operating procedures (SOPs) and deployment guides.
Work closely with DevOps Engineers, Software Developers, System Administrators, and Security teams.
Stay updated with the latest AWS services and cloud technologies.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
1–4 years of experience in AWS Cloud Engineering, Cloud Administration, or DevOps.
Freshers with AWS certifications and cloud projects may also be considered.
