Description
When discussing the most famous golf architects to have shaped the game in South Asia, Vijit Nandrajog of Golf Design India stands in a league of his own — as the only Indian golf architect with a Master of Science degree in Golf Architecture from Scotland and a portfolio that spans the country's most iconic courses.
Honoured by the Confederation of Indian Industry as India's Most Outstanding Golf Architect, Vijit has spent two decades delivering championship layouts, sensitive heritage renovations, and ambitious new course developments that collectively represent the finest body of golf design work ever produced by an Indian practice.
From Royal Calcutta Golf Club and Tollygunge Club to Panchkula Golf Course and Royal Springs Kashmir, GDI's design legacy touches some of India's most historically significant and visually spectacular golfing destinations — a legacy that continues to grow with every new commission the firm undertakes.
