Description
Abrex 400 is a high-hardness, through-hardened abrasion-resistant steel plate (typically around 400 BHN) designed for heavy-duty industrial environments. It offers about three times the abrasion resistance of ordinary structural steel, significantly prolonging the operational lifespan of high-wear mechanical components. Despite its high strength and hardness, it maintains good impact resistance, weldability, and workability.
Common Applications:
• Screen plates and chute liners
• Conveyor buckets
• Cutting edges and ripper tynes
• Hoppers and ore scrapers
• Dump truck liners and crusher components
