The Indian Maritime Institute administers the IMU CET exams to applicants seeking admission to the Merchant Navy programmes. The Indian Maritime Institute has a number of programmes available, including undergraduate, graduate, and diploma programmes. Only candidates who meet the eligibility requirements may apply for the courses they want to take in the Merchant Navy Exam Pattern. On the Indian Maritime Institute's official website, interested applicants can view the Merchant Navy test format. The 200 questions in each of the six areas of the Merchant Navy tests are worth one mark. The Merchant Navy test has 200 total points and MCQ-style questions.
