Fire Protection Sealant with Acoustic and Movement Capabilities

fischer FiAM Plus is a one part water-based acrylic sealant which has been designed to provide smoke and fire protection on construction joints and single penetrations both vertical and horizontal applications. Tested in accordance with EN 1366-3, EN 1366-4 and ASTM E1966 (UL 2079) the FiAM Plus is certified by ETA, UL-EU and UL-US. It has excellent movement capabilities, a non-shrinking behaviour and provides excellent acoustic properties, acoustic properties, excellent movement capabilities, air permeability, water permeability, low VOC, halogen and solvent free, and is paintable.



FiAM Plus is a one part water-based fire resistant acrylic sealant. When exposed to fire, it reacts to form a highly insulative char that slows down heat transfer and provides a barrier to fire. It is suitable for a wide range of construction joints and single penetration applications.
