AOLIAN is an antipsychotic medication used to treat long-term schizophrenia and postoperative nausea/vomiting. Schizophrenia can manifest through positive symptoms (hallucinations, delusions) and negative symptoms (social withdrawal, emotional blunting). Amisulpride restores balance in brain neurotransmitters, particularly dopamine, and has an impact on serotonin, contributing to its effects. It also blocks dopamine receptors in the brain area responsible for nausea and vomiting.
