Varun Dua attended Mumbai University and the Mudra Institute of Communication (MICA) in Ahmedabad. He was born in Delhi and grew up in Mumbai. After serving as an intern at Leo Burnett Advertising in 2003, he went on to work at Tata AIG Life Insurance. He didn’t last long in his employment since he was driven by a desire to launch his own company. His first business venture was Glitter Work Technologies, which, in 2010, changed its name to Coverfox, an online insurance agency.
